The Workshop

 This workshop is an introduction to one of the earliest recycling crafts Rag Rugging. Just as there are many names given to the craft there are also many techniques. In this session you will be taught the techniques shaggy rugging and a proggy rugging. You will be provided with the tools and equipment required to undertake all tasks in the workshop, The techniques and equipment used have changed very little over the years. Rag Rugging was a process undertaken by the whole family mainly during the winter nights.

In this introductory session you will be taught the techniques to make a shaggy rug and a proggy rug. There will be a choice of projects although you may not fully complete a project in the time you can take materials to complete it at home
